Vena Nexus participated in “Japan Mobility Show 2025” as a Co-Creation Partner with Quantum Mesh

Vena Nexus, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vena Group specialising in grid-responsive AI-ready data centre infrastructure (AI-DC) across the Asia-Pacific region, participated in the Japan Mobility Show 2025 (JMS2025) as a co-creation partner of Quantum Mesh Co., Ltd. (Quantum Mesh). Together, the companies presented a booth under the concept of “WATT BIT ROAD,” aimed at establishing an optimal data collaboration infrastructure for the AIoT era.

In February 2025, Vena Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Quantum Mesh on Edge Green AI Infrastructure in Japan. By combining Vena Group’s expertise in the development, construction, and operation of large-scale energy and data centre projects with Quantum Mesh’s advanced design and proprietary technologies—including immersion cooling for high-efficiency computing—the two companies are advancing a portfolio of Edge Green AI Infrastructure projects to deliver integrated energy and computing solutions.

“Vena Nexus was pleased to participate in the Japan Mobility Show 2025 as a co-creation partner with Quantum Mesh,” said Simone Grasso, Chief Investment Officer of Vena Group and Global Head of Vena Nexus. “We are committed to integrating clean energy with sustainable digital infrastructure to address grid constraints and support a forward‑looking society for the AI era. Together with Quantum Mesh, we are developing end‑to‑end solutions for corporate customers that provide distributed and scalable AI computing platforms, while targeting the alleviation of grid constraints, carbon neutrality, system efficiency and reliability, and data security. Power and digital development must progress hand in hand — as captured in Japan’s vision for ‘WATTS’ and ‘BITS’. This year’s Japan Mobility Show was an excellent opportunity to share this vision with visitors to the booth and to explore next‑generation sustainable digital infrastructure.”

At the Quantum Mesh co-creation booth, visitors witnessed the first unveiling of the “AI Data Station”, a proposed solution addressing social risks of the AI era—such as power shortages, the growing strain on data processing from widespread high-performance AI, and rising Operational Technology (OT) security threats affecting daily life and social infrastructure. In collaboration with co-creation partners who have long contributed to the data economy through next-generation digital infrastructure, the booth also showcased a vision of a future city supported by sustainable digital infrastructure.

What is “WATT BIT ROAD”?

Historically, roads have connected places, enabled travel, and facilitated the flow of goods, playing a key role in Japan’s prosperity. Today, with the advancement of “WATT” (power) and “BIT” (information networks), roads are evolving into infrastructures where data travels alongside vehicles in the AIoT era. Quantum Mesh, Vena Nexus, and other co-creation partners aim to build an optimal data collaboration infrastructure for this new age by deploying decentralised roadside edge modules enabled by the interconnection of “WATT” and “BIT.”
