Molecules
Green hydrogen is a clean energy carrier that emits no polluting
gases. Its lightweight nature makes it a promising solution for storing and transporting renewable energy across long distances, enabling power to flow from resource-rich regions to high-demand areas. Vena Energy is at the forefront of green hydrogen development, capitalizing on the emerging global market for green molecules.
Did you know: Australia serves as a natural focal point for Vena Energy’s green hydrogen expansion given its vast renewable energy resources and strong government support. The Euroa Hydrogen Project, a 50 MW / 7 kilo ton per annum (KTPA) green hydrogen facility, is one of the few permitted hydrogen sites in the APAC region having received federal funding from the Australian government in 2022. In 2024, the project selected its preferred EPC contractor and electrolyzer provider and commenced preliminary engineering and design work. The project targets commissioning in three years, with a second- phase 400 MW expansion being planned. The expansion project is intended to supply key demand centers in North Asia, including Japan and South Korea.
