Our Community Impact in India: Empowering Youth, Advancing Sustainability

At Vena Group, we believe that investing in education and environmental stewardship builds a foundation for a greener future where clean energy is accessible for all. Continuing our commitment to corporate social responsibility, our India team made meaningful progress through meaningful initiatives focused on sustainability and youth development.

Creating Greener Learning Spaces

In April 2025, volunteers from our Delhi office partnered with Dev Samaj Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School in Gurugram for a tree plantation drive. Together, we planted 100 saplings across the school campus, directly benefiting 1,000 students, teachers and community members. The initiative addresses air quality concerns in the greater Delhi region while creating a more inspiring learning environment. To ensure long-term impact, our NGO partner, “Being Green”, will care for the saplings until they grow into self-sustaining trees.

In June 2025, our Bangalore team continued this green momentum on World Environment Day with employees planting 100 saplings at a local industrial campus in partnership with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled. Separately, teams across all our O&M sites and corporate offices celebrated World Environment Day with environmental awareness training on plastic pollution, while also planting over 330 saplings.

Inspiring Future Clean Energy Leaders

In May 2025, our team hosted 15 Bachelor of Science students and three faculty members from SECAB College at our KN Wind Site in Mangoli. The students gained hands-on experience with wind turbine operations, SCADA systems and power substations. The visit concluded with a knowledge assessment, where top performers received certificates and recognition. Faculty members praised how the practical exposure enhanced classroom learning and inspired students to consider careers in green energy.

These initiatives support multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals, including Quality Education, Climate Action, and Affordable Clean Energy. We are proud to continue this momentum forward as we continue to engineer a greener and more sustainable future.
