The Gangwon Province in South Korea is one of the coldest places during winter, and many of the elderly and vulnerable members of society often lack the necessities to shield themselves from the cold. To bring warmth to these communities this winter, Vena Energy partnered with the Gangwon branch of the Korean Red Cross to donate high-density bedding and pillows to approximately 35 households in Kimsatgat-myeon. Accompanied by the village leaders, 12 of our colleagues went from door to door and spent some time with the elders, sharing the festive season with them.
