The framework quantifies and visualizes each organization’s D&I performance, with certifications granted based on total scores achieved.

ABOUT D&I AWARD

“Making diversity and inclusion (D&I) the norm in society.”

While D&I is still often considered an “added value” in corporate and economic activities, the mission of the D&I AWARD is to position diversity and inclusion as a shared societal framework and an everyday norm in Japan. The initiative seeks to cultivate a society in which individual differences are embraced as strengths that bring value, vibrancy, and depth.

The D&I AWARD aims to broaden the reach of D&I initiatives across organizations of all sizes—including large corporations, SMEs, and startups—and to elevate the overall presence of D&I in Japanese society. Through this award, the organizers strive to help realize a future where diversity and inclusion are truly embedded in everyday life.
