Vena Energy Signs its First Naming Rights Partnership in Japan with Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima

Vena Energy, the renewable energy arm of Vena Group and a leading green energy solutions provider in the Asia-Pacific region, is pleased to announce its first naming rights partnership agreement in Japan with Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Under the agreement, the multi-purpose hall at the Sendai Station Convention Center (SS Plaza Sendai) will be renamed “VENA ENERGY HALL”.

The name “VENA ENERGY HALL” is derived from the Latin word vena, meaning “vein” or “blood vessel”, symbolising energy as a vital force that flows through and connects communities. The name reflects the hope that the hall will continue to be cherished by the people of Satsumasendai as a vibrant hub for connection and shared experiences. The partnership also represents a shared vision for the sustainable growth and future development of Satsumasendai City.

The multi-purpose hall within the Sendai Station Convention Center will be renamed VENA ENERGY HALL under the city’s first naming rights agreement, with the new name taking effect from July 2026. Through this initiative, we hope to further enhance the value of the convention center while deepening public understanding of renewable energy. We are sincerely grateful that the agreement will contribute to the maintenance and management of the facility. We also extend our best wishes for Vena Energy’s continued growth and success.

We are deeply honoured to enter into Satsumasendai City’s first naming rights agreement. Vena Energy is currently advancing wind power projects in Yorita Town in Satsumasendai City, as well as in Hashima and Arakawa in Ichikikushikino City, with a strong commitment to working alongside local communities and growing together with them. Through this partnership, we look forward to working closely with Satsumasendai City to further enhance the value of the multi-purpose hall at the Sendai Station Convention Center as a vibrant hub where people can gather and connect. We hope this initiative will enrich the experience of those who use the facility while creating new opportunities to deepen awareness and understanding of renewable energy. Vena Energy remains committed to supporting regional revitalisation and contributing to a more sustainable future for the communities where we operate.
