Every winter and early spring, the Budai Salt Fields wetlands in Chiayi, Taiwan become a focal point, with the arrival of thousands of migratory birds. Their flocks create a breathtaking natural spectacle as they feed and rest across the salt pans and fishponds—a vibrant celebration of biodiversity and community.
For the fourth consecutive year, Vena Energy proudly supported the Budai Migratory Bird Season. This year also marked the debut of its “Green Energy kám-á-tiàm” mobile container exhibition, an interactive space designed to bring green energy, sustainability, and community engagement to life. Inspired by the idea of a neighborhood corner store, the Green Energy kám-á-tiàm is more than an exhibition—it is a welcoming space designed to bring green energy closer to communities.
Nearly 150 visitors, including members of the public, NGO partners, and guests from industry, government, and academia, explored the exhibition. Through interactive experiences such as “Green Power Pinball”, “Eco Spinning Top”, and the “Community Balance Scale”, visitors discovered the diverse value of green energy and its connections with ecology and local communities.
Housed in a mobile container designed for traveling exhibitions, the space is powered entirely by rooftop solar panels, demonstrating the concept of green energy self-sufficiency in an engaging, real-world setting.
“Our goal is to make green energy accessible and inspiring for everyone. By combining interactive experiences with the natural beauty of Budai, we hope to show how green energy can work hand in hand with communities and the environment.”
Lee Wencheng, Head of Taiwan at Vena Energy
Initiatives like Green Energy kám-á-tiàm allow Vena Energy to bring sustainability education directly to local communities, encouraging people to imagine a future powered by cleaner, greener energy.
