Raúl Rienda is the Head of Japan at Vena Energy.
Prior to his current role, Raúl served as Head of Operations, overseeing the development, construction, and operations for Vena Energy’s solar and wind energy assets, including insurance management, health and safety (HSSE), and information technology (IT) in Japan.
Raúl has over 20 years of experience in renewable and advanced energy solutions. Prior to Vena Energy, Raúl was a Project Director at Juwi in Japan, overseeing large-scale photovoltaic solar installations, project supervision, EPC vendor and proposal management, and budgeting. Before Juwi, he was Project Manager at CONCOM, focusing on engineering and construction management, and has built large-scale photovoltaic solar projects throughout Europe, India, Kenya, and Japan. Raúl’s career in renewable energy started at EMA, where he was a project engineer responsible for high-voltage facilities, transmission lines, and low-voltage systems. Raúl graduated from the University of Jaen in Spain with a bachelor’s degree in industrial electronics. He is currently based in Tokyo, Japan.
