Owen Sela is Head of Australia at Vena Energy, where he leads the company’s green energy portfolio and drives its mission to accelerate Australia’s energy transition.

Since stepping into the role in July 2022, Owen has applied his deep market knowledge and local expertise to expand Vena Energy’s strategic footprint across the Australian energy sector.

With over two decades of executive experience, Owen brings a strong background in energy market operations, commercial strategy, and risk management. He has played a key role in regional energy marketplaces, served large-scale energy customers, and guided strategic business direction for leading energy companies.

Owen joined Vena Energy in April 2019 as Executive General Manager of Business Development and was promoted to Country Head in 2022. Prior to Vena Energy, he held senior leadership roles at Infigen Energy, CS Energy, and Alinta Energy.
