Kwangjin Cheong is Head of Korea for Vena Group. Based in Seoul, Kwangjin leads the business development and operation management for all projects and partnerships in the region.

Before Vena Group, Kwangjin was serving as the Representative Director of Nippon Renewable Energy, one of the largest renewable energy development and investment companies in Japan.

With 20 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, Kwangjin has held leadership roles responsible for new market penetration, business growth, organization build-up, and corporate management. Prior to Nippon Renewable Energy, Kwangjin played senior roles at international renewable energy companies such as SunEdison and Conergy.

Kwangjin graduated with an MBA in Business Economics from Aalto University in Finland.
