Vena Group is honored to be named runner-up for the “Green Energy Award” at the 9th BCCTaipei Better Business Awards, underscoring our continued commitment and achievements in accelerating Taiwan’s energy transition and advancing sustainable development across the Asia-Pacific region.
Organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCTaipei), the Better Business Awards celebrate individuals and enterprises in Taiwan for their outstanding effort in Responsible Business. The awards evaluate companies across seven key areas, focusing on performance relevance, innovation, and tangible impact – recognizing those with outstanding achievements in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Leading the Way in Green Energy and Ecological Stewardship
Over the past decade in Taiwan, Vena Group has successfully developed and commissioned seven solar power plants, including the largest solar “island” in Taixi, Yunlin. Together, these projects represent a total installed capacity of 412 MW—accounting for approximately 4.65% of the nation’s total solar output—and generate over 620 million kWh of clean electricity annually. These milestones serve as a strong driving force behind Taiwan’s energy transition.
Guided by the principle of “Respect for Local Communities, Coexistence with Nature,” Vena Group is committed to fostering the co-prosperity of green energy and ecological conservation. Through initiatives such as the Chiayi Yizhu Ecological Education Center, the Green Energy Forum, and ongoing dialogue with academic institutions and local stakeholders, we continue to demonstrate that green energy development and ecological sustainability can go hand in hand.
A Decade of Progress—And a Vision for the Future
Marking a decade is not an endpoint, but a new beginning. Looking ahead, Vena Group will continue to deepen our roots in Taiwan, pursue larger-scale investments and innovations, and enhance the reliability and efficiency of clean energy. Our mission is to accelerate the energy and digital infrastructure transition to build a cleaner and more sustainable future for generations to come in Taiwan and across the Asia-Pacific region.
