LEAP Program: Empowering our Future Leaders in Partnership with Singapore Management University

At Vena Group, we believe that talent fuels our success, because when our people grow, so does our ability to create positive and lasting change in the communities we serve.

The LEAP Program (Lead, Engage, and Act with Passion) exemplifies our commitment to developing future-ready talent. Designed for high-potential employees, LEAP, now running for the second time, is a leadership acceleration initiative built to develop the mindset, capabilities, and confidence required to lead in today’s fast-changing business environment.

Developed in partnership with Singapore Management University (SMU) and sponsored by our executive team, the program brought together 25 high-potential participants from across the Asia Pacific region. They embarked on a rigorous and immersive learning journey, blending global leadership insights, real-world business relevance, and hands-on application into Vena Group’s context.

Delivered through a blended format of expert-led masterclasses, peer collaboration, executive coaching, and real-world business challenges, LEAP created space for both personal reflection and professional growth through:

  • Moonshot Thinking: Encouraging bold, visionary thinking that challenges the status quo and drives breakthrough innovation.
  • Business Acumen & Decision-Making: Building strong commercial insight and decision-making skills to confidently navigate complexity and deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Transformational Leadership: Strengthening leadership communication through Presence, Passion, and Purpose, enabling leaders to inspire audiences and lead with clarity and authenticity.
  • Leading Change and Innovation with Agility: Developing the agility to lead through change, resolve conflicts, align team performance, and foster a culture of innovation and adaptability.

Highlights of the LEAP program include:

  • Thought-provoking masterclasses led by SMU faculty and industry leaders
  • Hands-on learning through real-world case studies and collaborative peer discussion
  • Executive coaching and networking sessions with industry leaders and the executive team
  • Capstone projects that tackled real business challenges, applying insights in practical contexts

As LEAP 2025 draws to a close, our participants from across the Asia Pacific region came together to present their capstone projects—each addressing real, high-impact business opportunities. These projects served as a culmination of their learning journey, where participants applied newly developed leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver practical solutions that support the acceleration of our energy and digital infrastructure transition.

From innovative initiatives and operational enhancements to function-specific strategies, each presentation reflected the insight, creativity, and dedication of these emerging talents who are engineering a greener future.
