Energy Transition Forum: New Challenges and New Opportunities

Panel Discussion: Perspectives from Taiwan’s Leading Renewable Energy Developer
Speaker:  Lee Wen Cheng, Head of Taiwan at Vena Energy

We were honored to be part of the conversation at the BloombergNEF 2025 Taiwan Annual Forum | New Challenges and New Opportunities in Energy Transition, exchanging practical experience with financial and industry partners.

Wencheng Lee, Head of Taiwan at Vena Energy, noted: “In recent years, Taiwan has built replicable standard operating processes (SOPs) and strong talent and supply-chain capabilities in solar development. Extending proven practices to overseas markets to build a multi-market pipeline is both an opportunity and a necessity.”

He also highlighted how Vena Energy continues to bring hands-on experience to emerging markets from the early stages as well as,everaging cross-market resources for flexible staffing and skills transfer to enhance project delivery quality and cost efficiency.

Thank you to BloombergNEF and Cathay United Bank for the insightful exchange. Looking ahead, we will continue to anchor on replicable standards and robust governance, combined with bankable structures and ESG compliance, to accelerate the energy transition and engineer a greener future.
