Last week our colleagues in India joined a local non-profit NGO “The Earth Saviours Foundation” to visit their Bandhwari village shelter, a 2-acre facility situated on the outskirts of Gurgaon, which serves vulnerable members of society including abandoned senior citizens, the homeless, individuals with mental or physical disabilities, those with incurable diseases, as well as deprived women of the community.
Our colleagues volunteered to participate in this activity and spend their time listening to the stories of the beneficiaries, as well as enjoying cakes and snacks with them. Through Vena Energy’s Employee Volunteer Program in India, we will continue to work closely with such NGOs to contribute to the sustainability and well-being of our host communities.
