Tan Sooi Kuan is the Chief Financial Officer at Vena Group, where she leads the Group’s financial strategy across its renewable energy and digital infrastructure businesses. She is responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, and tax and treasury operations, ensuring financial resilience while supporting Vena Group’s growth and sustainability goals. Her leadership has been instrumental in driving margin expansion, operational efficiency, and financial resilience in a rapidly evolving industry.
Sooi Kuan brings over two decades of global finance leadership experience, including 19 years at Carrier Corporation. There, she served as Director of Finance for the Global Container Refrigeration business, where she spearheaded various strategic projects, led global finance functions, and partnered with global functional heads and regional General Managers to drive financial and business KPIs as part of an industry leader in the maritime transport refrigeration sector. Her career at Carrier also included leadership roles across Asia and Australia, EMEA, and North America, where she oversaw finance operations and provided oversight for legal and IT functions.
Sooi Kuan holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
